Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT)
Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT)
Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT) combines modern manual therapy with traditional osteopathy. It represents a holistic approach to examination and treatment, addressing the musculoskeletal system (muscles, bones, joints, etc.) as well as the internal organs and the craniosacral system (skull, sacrum, meninges, etc.) in equal measure.
In our bodies, the muscles, bones, ligaments, fascia, joints, nervous system, craniosacral system, and organ and immune systems form an inseparable whole.
Injuries, poor posture, or prolonged overuse lead to structural changes in the tissue and affect all of these interconnected systems.
These changes manifest in the body as reduced joint mobility, muscle tension, and similar issues. By treating these imbalances, we support the body's own self-regulating capacity, helping it restore better balance, and with it, a greater quality of life.

Prevention
The human body is a marvel that is always trying to heal itself and is very forgiving. However, by acting "against" our body every day, we lose important energy and harm ourselves in the long run.
During a treatment session, we can identify these weaker areas early on and address them specifically. This not only saves you time but also helps prevent pain and avoid injuries that could lead to long-term inability to work or play sports.
Prevention and finding long-term solutions are not only core principles of our work but also essential for your everyday life. An important part of this process is raising your awareness and helping you understand the underlying causes of your symptoms. A preventive action plan is the key to a fit and healthy life.
Just like an annual dental check-up, regular visits to a therapist make sense, even when you have no acute complaints. Prevention is the first step toward staying healthy and vital in the long run.
