Reflexology
I'm glad to combine my many years of osteopathic expertise with reflexology, two approaches that complement each other in a particularly powerful way.
Both methods are based on a holistic understanding of the body, in which symptoms often arise far from their actual origin.
My path to reflexology grew out of a personal search: as a therapist, self-treatment is only possible to a limited extent. Reflexology opened up a new, independent way for me to regulate my own body. An experience that convinced me so deeply that I went on to complete over 800 hours of in-depth training in the field.
What makes this combination so special:
- Revealing systemic connections
While osteopathy works primarily through movement, structure, and function, viewing the body as a whole, reflexology opens up an additional pathway: through the skin, the nervous system, and specifically stimulated zones on the foot or other parts of the body.
- Gentle effect, even with complex issues
This combination is especially helpful when symptoms are diffuse, the body reacts very sensitively, or emotional and autonomic factors are involved. Here, reflexology acts like a fine bridge. It can calm the autonomic nervous system and stimulate self-regulation.
- Effective between treatments
Another advantage: using individually tailored pressure points, I can give you simple techniques to use at home. This helps deepen the effect of the treatment. Gently, sustainably, and in a way that fits easily into everyday life.
Why I enjoy working with reflex points
This video illustrates very clearly why reflexology is such a valuable part of my work, especially during sensitive life phases such as pregnancy or early infancy.
During pregnancy, the body is constantly changing. As the baby grows, it shifts the position of the internal organs, which often makes direct treatment in the abdominal area difficult. Through reflex zones, for example on the feet, we can still target internal structures gently, safely, and with real impact.
In newborns, the digestive system is still immature. Embryologically speaking, not yet fully developed. The stomach, for instance, still has the shape of a simple tube, since certain structures such as the His angle have not yet formed. Precise manual work in the abdominal area is therefore not possible. The reflex zones on the feet, however, offer stable reference points that change very little, making them much easier to treat with precision.
Reflex points on the feet, head, or ears are, for me, valuable gateways into the body. Through them, I can apply targeted impulses and support your body exactly where it needs it most.
